Monday - Sewing School

Heya friends, It seems that Sewing School is beginning to arrive in stores, here and in the US so I thought what better way to nag you all into submission than to have a giveaway.

So I am, I am going to give away some sewing school stuff every day until Sunday ! There will be little giveaways and big giveaways.

The first giveaway is four FQ's of the Scottie print. When I was a kid my Nan had a funny vinyl Scottie Dog that she used as a pin cushion. (Of course now I think that is truly weird- it would wreck your pins!) As a kid I love that strangely smelling little dog and when I was designing this range I just knew I had to include Scottie Dogs.
How cute are the little Scottie Overalls that Jane of Lil Pip Designs made for my booth !

My Nan didn't have a cactus pincushion but I will also include a Totally cactus pattern , cause I am nice like that !
There are no hoops to jump through , just leave a comment.

(and yes I know I haven't announced the horsey pattern winner yet... I am still cogitating on it )

See you tomorrow !

  2. Cute fabric! And I'd love to make a cacti pin cushion too, you can never have too many pin cushions lying (or standing in this case) around.

  3. My great aunt had scottie dogs (live ones!) and when I was a kid I had a scottie dog pyjama case. I wonder what happened to that? Anyway, I love the scotties!

  4. I hope my 'The Trots' idea is in the running, it is a very serious suggestion and has nothing to do with the fact that it also refers to a rather unfortunate medical condition which happens when you drink dodgy tap water. I would like a cactus pin cushion because I was once terribly wronged by a sly cactus on a long weekend in Mexico and wish to avenge.

  5. I promised myself no more fabric this month but I need some of those Scottie dogs. We work with Scottish Terrier Rescues and have adopted 13 rescues since 2004. We have three in house at the moment. They are our babies. I hope to have my scottie acres website and etsy shops back up and running again soon.

  32. The Scotties are so adorable. My sister has two black scotties. K-9 is the girl and she's about four and the Doctor who's just a year old and still chewing everything. And, I must admit, I love the Cactus pin cushions! It would crack me up every time I poked a pin in.
