  1. Addicted to Fabric in Canberra.

Was planning to mosey on down on the weekend to enquire if Little Red had made an appearance there yet....but I would do a little happy dance if you saved me a trip!

  2. I loved this doll when I saw it in GJ's discount fabrics today. Amazing. Was just what I was looking for to add to my daughter's room which has a Little Red theme. Definitely will be making it. Janine

  3. Beautiful doll! My daughter went to school as Red Riding Hood for world book day recently. Except she went as the version from Roald Dahl's poem, with the great line about whipping a pistol from her knickers and shooting the wolf! Rosie had a wolf-fur waistcoat on under her red hooded cardigan. My favourite fabric place is this http://www.thebramblepatch.co.uk/

  8. I haven't branched out to buying really nice/fancy fabrics yet so I haven't gone looking for small fabric shops.

So I'm giving a shout out to Joanne Fabric's REMNANT BIN!! I find so many fun things there that help me build up my skills so I can move on to nicer (more expensive) fabrics.

(love your patterns, by the way)

  18. Down here in Miami, FL I need to get online for the good "designer" fabrics like those featured at Fatquartershop and equilter. I don't get to "feel" my way around like the rest of the world. Joann is all we have.

But I would love to try out a "little red" as a craft corner companion!! Even if I can't meet her in person...
Jodie your clones are so cute!!

  39. Hi Jodie
I love going to Ballarat Patchwork. Emma and Karen have been so helpful to me since I started on my quilting and softies journey.
The ranges of fabrics, patterns and samples are sublime. The classes they conduct cater for all skill levels. They also have guest instructors such as yourself and Natalie of Cinderberry teaching the skills of softies and stitchery. A great place to go!

  45. I have lots of favorite shops, but my local is Tricia's discount fabrics ( Adelaide) where the prices, service and variety are fantastic. However I also like to support Perriwinkle Patchwork (Warrnambool, VIc), because Ann is a great friend and is fantastic with colour, I have often brought over the phone ( she now has a website for online purchases) and she always gets the colour right when i am search for something specific plus has a good collection of patterns. Love Ms Red, bet you must be glad to cross that job off your to do list!
PS chooky blue has great instructions on her blog re reducing spam and turning off new double word verification.

  54. My favourite is Ballarat Patchwork. Emma, Pam and Karen (occasionally referred to as Sue by me when having brain bubble moments)all provide great advice and service. I love the store so much, and visit so often, I am almost afraid that I may be seen as a stalker! As you know, they have great fabric, wonderful patterns (including yours) and run a wide variety of classes that accommodate all skill levels and tastes. Do I sound stalkish? I am starting to worry myself now!
