S I T !

Tomorrow I am heading off to join Sew-It-Together and I cannot wait. I am completely disorganised and thankful that the Ballarat contingent have organised me to the point that I know what time to meet at the train station.I'm wondering if people are actually bringing things to craft? I mean...really?
Sixty bloggers, lots and lots of whom have never met before? Can you imagine the noise level? the squealing? the hugging? Lets just say I'll chuck a bit of linen in the hoop, but I cannot guarantee more than a few stitches...
There has been some talk of show-and-tell.......
Are you bringing some show and tell? ....I don't want to be a Mrs Big Head rocking up with a suitcase full of toys for show and tell only to find no-one else has brought anything to show...

These pics are some of my loot from Stitches and Craft..and if you come back on Sunday I'll show you what I bought for you guys!

  3. I'm going to bring my hand applique, and a stitchery, so I can choose between them - and probably do not much of either.

I thought I might bring my last quilt to show off - but I will only get it out if I feel encouraged - I will show you mine if you show me your ;-).

  30. oohh lovely things... can't wait to see what you make with that fonty fabric... mini quilts maybe? *oggles book*

I have a parcel to send you.. for reals and everything this time.. after a terrible winter and lack of crafty confidence in the slightest... but the sun is shining and I feel better than I have for a long time. I still oggle the fabric scraps you sent me and have only played with two tiny pieces but I have a new sewing machine now so I might bite the bullet and attempt a larger project and actually use all the beautiful fonty scraps you sent me... sorry I'm long winded today.. *waffle waffle*

  31. 60 bloggers in one room? FABULOUS! Can't wait to hear all about it - but even more desperate to hear what stories you told about Trashy!!!

And that writing fabric is wonderful - thank you for buying it for me, you really shouldn't have! ;o)

    Locket xx

P.S I think there would be a lot of disappointed bloggy-peeps if you didn't turn up with a suitcase of soft toys to show!

  36. Now I really need to get hold of that issue of HomeSpun.

I think you need to make a Mrs BigHead softie - wearing a pink fluffy dressing gown.

The thing that worries me about my dreadful photos, is that other people say that it's a good likeness.

I'm after the fact here, so I already know you had a blast. You've been so busy lately, it's good to know you have a 'tour manager' to keep you on schedule. Every Mrs BigHead needs one you know!

    Cheers,
    AJ

  38. Sounds like such a lot of fun. I love the fabric with text - is there a link where I can get some online from the other side of the world? I can't believe there was somebody at SIT who made a quilt in a day. Please tell me it was doll's cot size.
