Call me Elastic woman

OK, so although I am the first to say that I am no superwoman - I have decided that I am in fact ...."elastic woman".
I just keep on stretching, and fitting in more stuff. The list is keeping me in line, if not quite up-to-date. There is so very much to do between now and May 5th and of course I have just performed the biggest stretch of all, and gone back to the day job.
(sheesh it takes up some time).

But you know, all the busyness is fun in that kind of crazy way - I don't do so well with nothing to do -and the librarian in me revels in the lists and checklists, and ticking boxes nature of it all.

and now I am ticking the give away box.

I have two tickets to the show in Melbourne to give away.

The Stitches and Craft show is in Caulfield may 5 - 9th, so if you are planning on going or if a free ticket will help you make up your mind-please leave a comment(and make sure I can reply to you). I think I'll give two people one ticket each...

(I'll be doing another giveaway for people who can't make the show soon as well I promise)

Give-away one ....... Tick !

  1. hehe! If you can supply the room and board for the time I'll be there, then yes, send me the ticket!! Still deciding.... might have to check Tiger airways, see if they have any of those $10 plane tickets!

  2. I love love love the little jacket.

I have not made it to the Stitches and Craft Show before, but have read such good things - count me in to the draw!

  3. Just decide which day I wanted to go! What stall will you be at because I'm coming to visit! Love the little characters at the top as well. Love to see you there too Selina.

  4. Oh oh oh!

COUNT ME IN for the ticket draw - a free ticket could mean extra sushi or extra fabric or more buttons or another pattern or a better rotary cutter or a better breakie to keep my energy up or some stamps or an embroidery hoop or two or some wool for my Gran to make Punky something or... or... or....!

Counting down the days now... wheeeeeeeee!

(PS, now that my totally selfish rant is over - LOVE the wee red coat!)

  6. Would love a ticket...if I lived down your way :( That little jacket is gorgeous! I have awarded you a Sunshine Blog Award (think you have already received one since) but maybe I should have called it Elastic Woman Stretch Award. Pop into my blog when you have a chance to check it out (may have to scroll down a bit). Hope all is well Stretchy :)

  7. Not needing a ticket, but could do with a red jacket in my size!

  8. Love that little red jacket, Jodie. BTW, are you having trouble getting your head through the door these days now that the Homespun ed. has described your work as "exquisite" and "divine"? No ticket thanks; OS visitors and such in May so not sure if I'll be going. Let me know if I can help out with packing kits or whatever.

  9. Please put me in your draw! Thanks for the chance to win a ticket.

  10. The
    Red
    Coat
    Seriously
    Makes
    Me
    All
    Melty.

And I am wondering who (or what) will be wearing it at the show? I am very very curious.

And I am pretty sure that Elastic Woman is a member of the superhero council (and much preferred over super woman whose boobs are too pointy and hair too big and somewhat self-absorbed).

I am booked in to get my tonsils out on the 27th April (yes I am a grown up!And I know it could be 10 days of hell) but my aim is to be recovered enough to make it to Stitches and Craft - I have to have something to look forward to after going through that. So a free ticket would be lovely - and more motivation to recover!
